This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to have it deleted. We handle personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
What we collectما الذي نجمعه
When you book: your name, email address, phone number, the emirate and address for the event, an optional map link, and any notes you add for the café.
When you sign in: your email address. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your email address and name from Google. We never receive your Google password.
Automatically: basic technical information such as your approximate location by IP and browser type, used to keep the service running and secure.
We do not collect or store card details. Payment information goes directly to our payment provider.
Why we collect it
To create and manage your bookings, to pass the café what it needs to serve you, to send booking confirmations and updates, to handle refunds and complaints, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
What the café sees, and when
This is deliberately staged:
- When you book: the café sees your name and emirate, the package, the number of cups, the date and time.
- Once the booking is confirmed: the café also sees your phone number, full address, map link and any notes.
A café only ever sees bookings made with that café.
Who else handles your data
We use these providers to run the service:

Each processes data on our instructions, for the purpose listed and nothing else. Some of these providers process data outside the UAE.
How long we keep itالاحتفاظ بالبيانات
Booking and payment records are kept for the period required by UAE commercial and tax rules. Account details are kept while your account is open, and removed when you ask us to close it, except where we must retain a record.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you
- correct anything wrong
- delete your account and data
- stop sending you non-essential email
Email hello@subb.ae. We respond within 30 days.
Deleting your data
To have your data deleted, email hello@subb.ae from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my data".
We will delete your account, your profile details and your contact information within 30 days and confirm by email.
We keep records of completed bookings and payments where UAE commercial and tax law requires it. These are retained in the accounting record only and are not used to contact you.
Security
Access to personal data is restricted and logged. Customer contact details are only released to a café once a booking is confirmed. Payment details never reach our systems.
If a breach affects your data, we will tell you.
Children
Subb is not intended for anyone under 18.
